An explosion at a separatist-installed monument rocked the center of the eastern Ukrainian city of Luhansk on September 18, according to local media reports.
Firefighters were called to extinguish a fire sparked by the blast at the monument, a Soviet-made combat vehicle placed on a pedestal, LuganskInformCenter said. No injuries were reported.

Luhansk has been controlled by Russia-backed separatists since 2014.
