March 14, 2007 -- A Moscow court has suspended the retrial of two men accused of murdering U.S. journalist Paul Klebnikov.
Authorities said they needed time to locate one of the defendants, Kazbek Dukuzov, who failed to appear. The second defendant, Musa Vakhayev, was released on condition that he not leave Russia.
The two were acquitted in May of murdering Klebnikov, but the Supreme Court ordered a retrial.
Klebnikov, editor of the Russian edition of "Forbes" magazine, was shot dead in Moscow in July 2004.
