The demonstration in Tehran today (Fars)
December 27, 2006 -- A group of Basij militia members today gathered in front of the UN office in Tehran to protest against a Security Council resolution imposing limited sanctions on Iran for refusing to suspend its uranium enrichment work.
The students reportedly called the December 23 UN resolution illegal and chanted slogans against the United States, Britain, and Israel.
They also urged Tehran to pursue its peaceful nuclear activities with greater determination.
