Taliban, Police Among 35 Killed In Afghanistan

(RFE/RL) May 6, 2007 -- Afghan officials say at least 35 people were killed across Afghanistan in the past day.

Thirteen Afghan national police, 17 suspected Taliban, and five security guards for a road construction company were killed in separate incidents.

It was also reported that a suicide attacker killed himself and wounded a policeman.
