In Prague, A Dark Memorial To Wartime Heroism
Seventy years ago, Czech resistance fighters assassinated the Nazi leader of occupied Czechoslovakia, Reinhard Heydrich, known as the "Butcher of Prague." A Czech organization is commemorating the event with a re-creation of a concentration camp, a reminder not only of the resistance effort, but also of the brutal crackdown on civilians that followed.
