'Apps for Apes' Program Offers Orangutans iPads
The Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington has started an 'Apps for Apes' program, allowing orangutans to play music, draw, and even communicate with each other remotely via video chat technology. The program has already appeared at 12 other zoos around the world to help enrich the animals' lives and improve their communication skills. (AP video)
