Russia Holds Largest Military Drills Since Soviet Era
Russia's military has been holding its largest exercises since Soviet times, involving 160,000 troops, 5,000 tanks, and 130 combat aircraft. Russian President Vladimir Putin reviewed the drills on July 16 on Sakhalin Island in Russia's Far East together with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. (Reuters)
