More from Interfax on that report of 200 rebels being killed by government forces near Donetsk airport:
The press center for the military operation in eastern Ukraine has said that the troops defending the Donetsk airport have eliminated about 200 militiamen in the past 24
hours.
"The militants, who were firing at the Ukrainian military positions on the grounds of Donetsk airport yesterday, were eliminated by artillery units of the ATO (antiterrorist operation) forces. Verified information suggests that the firing raid has destroyed or damaged four tanks, two armored personnel carriers, two howitzers, infantry fighting vehicles and killed up to 200 militants," according to the press center's Facebook page.

A Ukrainian military spokesman says 32 tanks, 16 artillery systems, and 30 trucks carrying ammunition and soldiers crossed from Russia into the eastern Ukrainian region of Luhansk on November 6.
Captive Ukrainian military pilot Nadiya Savchenko has won a rare victory in a Russian courtroom. At her first court appearance since being returned to detention from a psychiatric clinic, investigators at the hearing in Moscow's Basmanny district court dropped their objection to a defense motion to include in court materials testimony from Ukrainians who say they witnessed Savchenko's capture.
Savchenko, who is being held in Russia on charges of complicity in the deaths of two Russian journalists covering fighting in eastern Ukraine, has claimed that she was abducted by pro-Russian separatists in Ukraine on June 18 and bound and smuggled into Russia in July.
Investigators claim she was detained in Russia.
Savchenko, who won a seat in Ukraine's parliament last month, asked investigators why they had changed their minds about the motion, but they gave no explanation.
