We reported earlier that reformist presidential candidate Mehdi Karrubi, who is the only cleric running in the race, had met with artists and pop singers, including an underground rapper, Sasy Mankan.
After the meeting, Karrubi said that he hadn't met exclusively with the rapper but had been told that “this person” was among the artists he met.
It seems that Mankan was impressed by the cleric because the rapper has produced a song in support of Karrubi.
“Who should I give my vote to? Who is the best? Who cares about Iran, about unemployment?
"We love you because you’re good and nice, you’re popular, our vote , your vote, Mehdi Karrubi.”
You can listen to the song here.
