U.S. House Approves Money For Afghan Troop Surge

The U.S. House of Representatives has approved funds for President Barack Obama's planned troops increase in Afghanistan.

Obama was seeking $33 billion to help pay for 30,000 extra troops this year.

The administration, however, won't get the money by July 4 as it had hoped.

The bill will now go back to the Senate for approval after the House added some nonmilitary spending to it.
