U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says the Obama administration is committed to passing a long-delayed free trade agreement with South Korea, and that the pact is ready for review by Congress.

Clinton was speaking to a gathering of business leaders in Seoul during a whirlwind trip through South Korea and Japan.

A trade pact between South Korea and the United States was signed in 2007 but has not been ratified because of U.S. auto and beef industry concerns.
