Gandhara is a new RFE/RL blog dedicated to covering Afghanistan and Pakistan, written by our journalists covering the two countries for Radio Azadi (Afghanistan) and Radio Mashaal (Pakistan).
RFE/RL maintains bureaus in Kabul and Islamabad, utilizing staff writers and a vast network of stringers and freelancers to bring the news to Afghanistan in Dari and Pashto languages, and to Northwest Pakistan, also in Pashto.
Gandhara will be a mixture of news, commentary, and cultural reporting from our colleagues at RFE/RL headquarters in Prague and our journalists on the ground. We hope it will be a valuable resource for Afghanistan and Pakistan watchers.
