Mikhail Prokhorov, who came in third in Russia's March presidential election, is reportedly considering becoming a candidate for the post of Moscow's mayor.

The June 1 edition of the "Kommersant" daily cites some of Prokhorov's associates as saying the wealthy businessman has already made a decision to run for mayor.

Prokhorov has not yet commented publicly on any decision he might have made about running.

"Kommersant" reported that Prokhorov might call a press conference for June 4 to announce his intentions.
