NGO Says Iran Has Six Jailed Journalists

July 3, 2007 (RFE/RL) -- Reporters Without Borders says it has learned of the arrests of three more Iranian journalists.

The Paris-based press freedom organization says Mohammad Sadegh Kabovand, Said Matinpur, and Mohammad Hassan Fallahieh were arrested between November 2006 and July 2.

With a total of six journalists detained, the group says Iran continues to be the Middle East's biggest prison for the press.
