World Leaders Attend Memorial Ceremony For Former German Chancellor Kohl

World leaders attended on July 1 a ceremony at the European Parliament in Strasbourg to commemorate the life of Helmut Kohl, the former chancellor of Germany and the main architect of its reunification. Kohl, who died on June 16 aged 87, is the first person to be honored with an official memorial event by the European Union.
