Bomb Blast At Peshawar Mosque

Pakistani police say a bomb explosion has killed at least four people at a Sunni mosque in the northwestern city of Peshawar.

Police officials said more than 20 others were injured in the blast on March 8.

A senior police officer said the bomb was detonated during noon prayers at the mosque.

Peshawar, the regional capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, has been the site of several militant attacks in recent months.

The city is surrounded by tribal regions where Al-Qaeda and Pakistani Taliban militants are known to have hideouts.
